The hive is buzzing with action, and this beautiful beeswax candle is no exception.  Spring is always in the air with this hive, adorned with happy bees making honey.

The beeswax Skep is a great gift for bee-loving friends and family (and who can resist it!).  The Beeswax Skep looks fantastic displayed with honey-pots full of flowers, burning as a centrepiece surrounded by spring blooms, or sitting on the mantlepiece.  When burning, it releases a soft honey scent, and casts a soft candle glow over the room, making it perfect for bath time or romance.

Fun Fact:  Skep is the name given to the upturned woven basket traditionally used as a beehive.  These were abandoned after the Victorian era, when easier to access, and reusable options were formed. As the Skep had to be destroyed to access the honey and honeycomb, they were a more labour intensive option.  These days, beehives for commercial honey need to be easy to access to inspect the hives.  Some smaller beekeepers are using Skeps still and maintaining the dying art of Skep making.

Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Shipment processing time

Crystal (only) orders are processed and dispatched within 2-4 business days. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Public Holidays.

Orders containing Candles will take up to 10 business days to be dispatched.  This is due to each candle being hand-made to order.   Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Public Holidays.

If your order has a mixture of Crystals and Candles your order will be sent as a whole when the candles are ready for dispatch.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
